Day seven: Light

This image was taken in an arcade in Melbourne. My brain is failing me as to the name of it.

Day six: I'm thankful for...

Two of my closest friend, Aimee and Ash. This photo was taken with my camera but not by me, though I couldn't find one more suitable for this post if I tried.
Day five: Shadow

My dog, Bundy.

Day four: What you read

Lately I have been struggling to ease my mind enough to be able to concentrate on reading a book. I find myself having to go over the same page a couple of times because although I am reading the words, I'm thinking of other matters and not taking them in. My new lunchtime routine since the weather has picked up is to head down to the Shrine of Remembrance and unwind on the grass for nearly an hour. Sometimes I read, sometimes I just put my headphones in, lie down and daydream.

Currently near completion of 'And the Ass Saw the Angel' by Nick Cave.

Day three: This happened today

Today's theme, as easy at it seems, appeared to be quite vague to me and there were so many possibilities that I couldn't pin one down. That and the fact that I was stuck in the office in meetings for the majority of the day didn't help with the inspiration in the slightest. Thankfully I have a great friend with a great bum who likes to ride bikes and will pose for me. So THIS HAPPENED TODAY.  Thanks, Nicko!

More shots from the abandoned farm. I am in love with the old Dodge in the second photo.

Day two: Lunch

Today I met my friend Ash on the grass near the Shrine of Remembrance for a little picnic lunch and time in the sun. Fortunately today's photo theme was lunch; any other day and the lunch photo may have been a photo of my desk. The muesli bar was amazing.

Day one: From where you stood

I had all the intention in the world to crawl under the covers this evening after work but instead grabbed my camera and jumped in the car. I managed to stumble across an abandoned section of a farm in Werribee South and spent an hour walking around and taking photos until the sun set (and I started hearing things). Amazingly enough, all of these photos are raw except for the last which I had to slightly up the contrast. Perfect lighting, lots of lens flare and the third photo is keeping with the photo a day theme I posted about earlier. Many more to come.
